Even though eating out can be expensive in Norway, there are some places that are more reasonably priced or that offer good deals for students.

Student budgets are not known for having a lot of extra padding for dining and drinking out. It is undeniably more economical to buy groceries and cook at home, rather than frequenting restaurants, cafés, and bars. This is true anywhere, but it may be especially true in Norway. Nonetheless, most students like to go out, at least occasionally, and get something that hasn't been prepared at home. Finding the most reasonably-priced options on your own from the comfort of home may be a challenge in Bergen. Due to the internet culture here, many menus and prices may be difficult to find or unavailable on the net. However, it isn't impossible to start learning where the lower cost options await you in the city. Word of mouth, student resources, and exploring the articles below can help you get a head start on finding reasonable prices for eating or drinking out.
